Elderbank is a spacious detached cottage sleeping 6, nestled in around 3/4 acre of woodland gardens. The cottage is situated within walking distance to some beautiful beaches and close to fantastic walks among the hills and mountains of Assynt. Located on the Stoer Peninsular not far from Stoer Lighthouse and 8 miles north of the fishing village of Lochinver. Elderbank is a lovely secluded property just off the NC500 and a perfect base to explore the North West Highlands. We have been awarded 4* by VisitScotland. ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation comprises entrance porch leading to the living room which has a wood burning stove, large sofas, smart TV and patio doors overlooking the gardens and Loch beyond. A door to the left leads to a second sitting room with sofa, smart TV and Wii games console. This is open plan leading into the ground floor bedroom with king size sleigh bed. The ground floor bathroom has a shower cubicle with rainfall shower. This can be accessed either from the bedroom or the hallway.
Through the main living room is a hallway with access to the fully equipped dining kitchen and stairs. Upstairs is the master bedroom with another king size bed and a twin bedded room, both with lovely views over the garden towards the Loch. The stylish bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The kitchen has a dining table plus small breakfast bar with seating for 2. It includes a dishwasher, fridge freezer, double oven, hob, microwave, toaster and smeg kettle. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the entrance porch. Through the hallway is the door to the back garden.
Outside is a seating area, large gravel driveway and woodland gardens of around 3/4 acre. The garden is a haven for wildlife and will delight adults and children alike with its winding pathways, willow tunnel and abundant bird life. A small stream runs through the garden to join the Loch beyond.
